We have substantial reserves of white, grey and blue Lias stone; all of which are traditionally used as building and walling stones in the West Country and South Wales. This Jurassic/Triassic Limestone has excellent strength and durability and has been used as a building and flooring material for over a thousand years.
Our Somerset Lias quarry has the capacity to produce over 15,000 sq m of Lias building stone per year, using modern equipment that ensures a consistently high-quality product.
