Lovell Stone Group Ltd was founded in 2009 with the acquisition of Lovell Purbeck. Since its inception, the Group has grown to operate six quarries throughout the South West and has expanded its workforce to 100 employees. The company remains committed to ongoing investment in advanced technology and infrastructure, supporting the sustainable utilisation of UK stone resources. Before establishing the Group, founders Simon and James Hart drew upon their extensive family experience in natural stone and paving materials, fostering a strong appreciation for premium UK stone and underpinning their dedication to responsible quarrying and stone supply.
