When planners agreed for a new Waitrose Store to be built in the old market town of Chipping Sodbury, they were keen to ensure it blended in with the stone properties in the surrounding area. South Gloucestershire Planning Officers were offered several natural building stones but it was agreed that our Purbeck Ragstone would be the stone of choice.
Lovell Stone Group supplied almost 400m2 of Purbeck Ragstone to the site; it was used to build several elavations around the store, the surrounding buildings and parking areas.
