Portland Stone facade in place as apart of a multi-million pound scheme to update Dorset County Museum. The redevelopment uses Portland Stone in 1200 x 1000 pieces that are 150mm thick to complement the existing natural historic buildings in the town. These were all fabricated by our talented sawyers and masons at our Purbeck Quarry, in Dorset. The museum is getting ready to re-open on the 28 May 2021.
